Titus (not his birth name) was embraced about a decade ago by the late Lawrence Bennett, a Malkavian of some renown at least on the East Coast. Titus truly loved him, but they had a terrible falling out over Titus giving into the violence in his nature and he left to a different city for five years, during which time Lawrence was murdered. Titus is struggling to forgive himself for this, bitter that what should have been a run of the mill act of rebellion in an immortal life led to being forever parted from someone he always thought he'd have a chance to make amends with eventually.
He hears music constantly, and is an accomplished pianist*. When he's in a particularly bad place he is under the impression he's being observed at all times and might speak to the imagined 'observers' (there's some minor fourth wall breakage).
In his mortal life he was involved in an infamous kidnapping incident as one of the victims, part of the "Freemont Five", taken and held by a pair of adults (Mr and Mrs Freemont) between the ages of 4 and 12, when he pushed Mrs Freemont down the stairs and strangled her into unconsciousness with one of the other older boys, Frank, taking the three younger children and making a break for it.
Prefers to feed off of sleeping humans because it avoids awkward social interaction. He's aware this makes him at least slightly a creep.
* His musical education was more focused on doing rather than learning the background of the music, so he's in a spot where he's extremely talented at reading sheet music, performing based on memory, and doesn't fucking know the difference between Bach and Beethoven.
